How to Deepen Concentration with the Breath Kasina
What I’ve found while building, testing, and exploring the Breath Kasina is that it’s incredibly effective at synchronizing the sensations of the breath with the visual field. Put more simply, the Breath Kasina is awesome at syncing soma & sight.
I think that the Breath Kasina’s primary innovation lies in the way that it takes advantage of this somatovisual biofeedback, which turns your breath into something you both feel & see, transforming your inner experience of breathing into a dynamic visual meditation object. By linking together the sense-fields of interoception & vision, we develop a more embodied & integrated form of concentration. We also take the unique advantages of the breath as a meditation object, especially in the way it dynamically ratchets down as the practitioners state down-regulates with it. By visualizing the breath we magnify this natural meditative feedback effect with the addition of somatovisual biofeedback.
I’m going to be real with you: I think this is a dope technodelic with a lot of potential! It wasn’t until I connected the Breath with the digital kasinas that I thought this may turn into something more than a hobby project.

During this inaugural Breath Kasina training–open to 12 people max–we’ll combine a small group learning format with the development of the Breath Kasina function in the KASINA app.
